I think what's unique here is the intersecting patterns of the furrows and the sunlight/shadows from the right side.

Just now going through my comments and there you were. Things have been alittle hectic around here and I haven't got back with many of my friends. Your observations are always right on. This is what made me go for the camera. The shadows are so unique and I see them everywhere. Before the days of my camera I would of never noticed it. Thank you John. Are you going on a trip this summer? I just got my computer out of the hospital too.

I was over in Canyonlands the first week in April and did two overnight backpacks. In the middle of May EddieTK, on DA, and I are heading over to Moab and down to the Grand Gulch area. I did Bullet Canyon as a day hike a few years ago, but the area is rich in ruins and rock art, so it will be nice to have a partner who's been through a lot of the area before. Then I'm waiting for the permit dates and I'll try for Grand Canyon and The Wave again in October. So the May and October trips should be the big ones.

You really do look at the mundane a little different through a photographers eye.
